Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde were present to pay their respects at the Pune airport as his remains were brought back from Goa.
Nana Patekar, who had expressed a wish to be cremated at his Donje farmhouse in Pune, was remembered fondly by family and friends. His son, Malhar Patekar, performed the last rites, lighting the funeral pyre in front of close family members and colleagues from the entertainment industry.
