Indian Assistant High Commissioner Honors Language Martyrs in Rajshahi
RAJSHAHI, Feb 21, 2026 – Manoj Kumar, the Indian Assistant High Commissioner in Rajshahi, paid tribute to the language martyrs by laying a wreath at the Central Shaheed Minar this morning.
While addressing the public, Kumar emphasized the warm and genuine relationship between Bangladesh and India. “The Bengali language serves as a strong bond for both our nations, cherished in the cultures and traditions we hold dear,” he stated.
He highlighted the authenticity of their relationship, saying, “Our connection is not artificial; it is heartfelt and sincere.” Following the ceremony, Kumar extended his best wishes to the people of the region on behalf of the Indian Assistant High Commission.
