Yash Starts Filming Key Scene in Ramayana
The much-anticipated film Ramayana, directed by Nitesh Tiwari, continues to capture the attention of audiences across India. This grand project is being developed as a two-part cinematic experience, with a staggering budget exceeding Rs 1,600 crores. The film promises to be visually spectacular, thanks to its ambitious production design and impressive cast.
Currently, Yash is filming significant scenes for the role of Ravana at Film City in Goregaon, Mumbai. Reports indicate that the crew has constructed an elaborate set to represent the kingdom of Mithila. The set features stunning palace courtyards and intricate floral decorations, with numerous junior artists added to enhance the visual impact.
This filming schedule focuses on a pivotal moment from the epic when Ravana appears at Sita’s swayamvar, attempting to lift the legendary Shiva Dhanush. This scene is designed to showcase Ravana’s power and presence early in the story.
According to a source close to the production, “The scene highlights Ravana’s dramatic entry at the swayamvar, creating a palpable tension around the lifting of the bow. Yash has a powerful entrance, and the atmosphere changes significantly when he arrives in the court. A lot of effort went into visualizing that aura.”
Sai Pallavi, who plays Sita, is expected to join the filming soon. While the makers are keeping most details under wraps, updates from the set have kept interest high among fans.
In addition to Yash and Sai Pallavi, Ramayana features a star-studded cast from across various industries, making it one of the most ambitious pan-Indian films in the making. With its large scale and the timeless appeal of the story, Ramayana is shaping up to be one of the most awaited releases in recent memory.
