Estée Lauder Names New President for Makeup Brands

On June 5, The Estée Lauder Companies Inc. announced the appointment of Lisa Sequino as the new President of the Makeup Brand Cluster. Starting from June 9, 2025, Sequino will lead the strategic direction and global growth of multiple makeup lines, including well-known brands like M·A·C, Bobbi Brown, Too Faced, Smashbox, and GLAMGLOW. She will report directly to Jane Hertzmark Hudis, the Executive Vice President and Chief Brand Officer.

With over 20 years in the beauty industry, Sequino brings a wealth of experience back to Estée Lauder. Her previous roles include serving as CEO for JLo Beauty and Supergoop!, where she gained a reputation for innovation and growth. In her new position, she aims to enhance makeup trends, attract new consumers, and ensure brand relevance worldwide. Her appointment signals the company’s commitment to strengthening its makeup category for future success.

“We are excited to have Lisa lead our makeup cluster,” said Hudis. “Her strong leadership skills and proven track record in driving brand success will help elevate our makeup offerings as we connect with consumers across various demographics and markets.”

Sequino’s familiarity with Estée Lauder’s portfolio will allow her to move quickly in her new role. She has previously held senior positions within the company, where she was instrumental in shaping strategies for the North American market for Estée Lauder’s flagship brand and managing a diverse multi-brand portfolio.

In her own words, Sequino expressed her enthusiasm about returning to the company. “I see incredible potential to engage new makeup consumers globally. By focusing on innovation, digital channels, and local relevance, I’m eager to work with the teams behind these beloved brands to create lasting impact and achieve significant business outcomes.”
