Salman Khan’s much-anticipated film Maatrubhumi has recently made headlines with some exciting news. Originally titled Battle Of Galwan, the film has been renamed and focuses on the 2020 clash between India and China. However, due to improvements in diplomatic relations between the two nations, the Ministry of Defence had concerns about the movie’s content. This led to a delay in its release. Fortunately, recent developments have swung in favor of the film, as the government has given it the green light for a theatrical release.

According to a source, officials from the Information and Broadcasting (I&B) Ministry have reviewed the new version of Maatrubhumi and are satisfied with the changes made by the filmmakers. As a result, they issued a No Objection Certificate (NOC) last week, allowing the film to be shared with the public.

Salman Khan is reportedly targeting November 13 as the release date for Maatrubhumi. He believes that the period following Diwali, when people are still in a festive mood, would be ideal for the film’s premiere. Before this happens, the film’s makers will need to submit it to the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) for review. If all goes well and the CBFC approves the film within the month, it’s likely that Maatrubhumi will hit theaters on the 13th. A clearer outlook on its release will emerge in the coming days.

Changes made to Maatrubhumi include a significant shift in how the relationship between India and China is presented. Instead of focusing solely on conflict, the revised version aims to portray their ties in a more favorable light.

In addition to Salman Khan, the film features Chitrangda Singh and is directed by Apoorva Lakhia. Fans are eagerly awaiting more updates and details about what promises to be a gripping story.
