Ayushmann Khurrana’s upcoming film Udta Teer has had its release date pushed back to October 23, shifting from the previously set date of October 9. Veteran trade analyst Taran Adarsh announced this change on social media, noting that the filmmakers want to avoid a busy release window and provide the film with a clearer space in theaters.
The decision to delay the film’s premiere aims to give Udta Teer a better chance at the box office without competition from other releases. With the new date, the film will now be released in theaters on October 23, giving the creators additional time to promote it effectively.
Udta Teer features Ayushmann Khurrana alongside co-stars Sara Ali Khan, Gulshan Grover, Mukul Dev, and Ram Kapoor. The interesting title and promotional materials have already sparked curiosity about the film, which is expected to showcase Khurrana in a unique role.
This new release schedule reflects a broader trend in the film industry, as studios continually assess the cinematic landscape to choose the best times for their films. With this two-week delay, the makers hope to secure a more favorable position for Udta Teer during its release weekend, along with plans for enhanced promotional activities leading up to the premiere.
