Google to Launch Fitbit Air in India This October
Google has announced that the screenless fitness tracker, Fitbit Air, will be available in India starting this October. The news came shortly after the company’s Made by Google event, where they revealed the Pixel 11 series, Pixel Watch 5, the new Pixel Tag tracker, and updates for the Pixel Buds.

Launched globally in May 2026, Fitbit Air is designed to offer seamless health and fitness tracking without the distractions of a screen. This lightweight device is part of Google’s enhanced health ecosystem, which also features the Google Health app and the AI-powered Google Health Coach, focusing on a more minimalistic and wellness-oriented experience.
Google emphasizes that Fitbit Air is built for comfort, providing 24/7 heart rate monitoring, sleep tracking, SpO2 (blood oxygen) monitoring, and alerts for heart rhythm issues like atrial fibrillation. It also tracks heart rate variability and automatically detects workouts.
