Celina Jaitly Responds to Legal Notices from Peter Haag and Father-in-Law, Labels It a Distraction: Bollywood Buzz

Actress Celina Jaitly has responded to legal notices from her estranged husband, Peter Haag, and his father, Wolfgang Haag, who have threatened to pursue defamation claims against her. This development follows confirmation that two separate legal notices were delivered to Celina, alleging she made false and damaging statements through social media and interviews during ongoing court proceedings in Austria regarding their marriage and child custody.

In her statement, Celina mentioned that her legal team has already sent a formal reply to the notices. She expressed that these legal threats seem to be an attempt to shift attention from her own concerns. “I believe these notices aim to distract from the serious issues I’ve raised with the authorities,” she stated.

Celina emphasized that sharing her personal experiences and seeking legal solutions should not be viewed as defamatory. She criticized how her family’s past media participation was welcomed while now facing legal repercussions when she brought up her own difficulties. “It’s ironic that I am facing legal action for talking about my experiences when I began to seek justice as a mother,” she added.

The actress also pointed out that her relationship with her children is central to her fight. “They are my children too, and I will continue to fight for their rights,” she said, noting that she has always supported joint custody and a peaceful divorce. However, she lamented that, despite court rulings, she has had no contact with them.

Fearing for her children’s well-being and potential relocation outside the reach of Austrian and Indian law, Celina spoke publicly about her worries. “As a mother with joint custody, it’s my right and duty to raise these concerns.”

She also claimed to have experienced pressure and intimidation while residing in Austria, stating that some want to silence her for speaking out. “This isn’t just about what I’ve said; it’s about my refusal to stay silent.”

In conclusion, Celina affirmed her commitment to pursue legal avenues and expressed her confidence in the judicial systems of both India and Austria. “I will not be intimidated into silence for sharing my truth or seeking justice. I have solid evidence and believe in the legal systems in both countries.”

The ongoing legal conflict continues to present contrasting perspectives from both parties involved.
