The producers, Dharma Productions, have implemented a unique pricing model for tickets. For shows before 5:00 PM on the release day, tickets will be priced at just ₹149. After that time, the price will rise to ₹199. This pricing strategy aims to attract a younger audience, particularly students.
One insider mentioned, “This pricing plan is specifically for the release day. After that, theatres will switch to regular weekend pricing.” It’s important to note that the special ticket prices will only apply to standard seating, not recliners or luxury screens.
Industry experts believe this strategy could pay off. The film mainly targets youth and college students, who may be drawn in by the affordable ticket prices. The hope is to see a strong turnout from the under-25 crowd, similar to the success experienced with last year’s hit, Saiyaara.
Advance bookings for Chand Mera Dil are expected to open on May 18. The film is directed by Vivek Soni, known for his past works like Meenakshi Sundareshwar and is produced by a talented team including Hiroo Yash Johar and Karan Johar.
