DUBAI: On Sunday, Iran executed a man who was found guilty of being a member of the extremist group Jaish al-Adl. According to the semi-official Tasnim news agency, this individual, named Amer Ramesh, was arrested during a counter-terrorism operation in southeastern Iran. He faced serious charges, including armed rebellion, and was linked to various attacks on Iranian security forces, such as bombings and ambushes targeting military personnel.
Jaish al-Adl is known for its activities in Sistan-Baluchestan, one of Iran’s most impoverished regions.
