Global Critical Resources Corporation Welcomes Matthieu Bos to Advisory Board

Global Critical Resources Corporation (GCR) has exciting news! The company has appointed Matthieu Bos as a new member of its Advisory Board. With over 15 years of experience in mining and banking, Mr. Bos brings a wealth of knowledge to the team.

Currently, Mr. Bos serves as the President and CEO of Falcon Energy Materials Plc, a company focused on developing materials for batteries. Falcon is currently working on building a battery material plant in Morocco, supported by La Mancha Fund.

Before his role at Falcon, Mr. Bos worked as the Executive Vice President for Africa at Ivanhoe Mines, one of Canada’s top diversified mining firms. There, he played a key role in projects like the Kamoa-Kakula Copper Project in the Democratic Republic of Congo and helped the company secure over $3 billion in financing. He started his career in the metals and mining sector with BMO Capital Markets.

Mr. Bos also has a strong background in advising companies in the natural resources field. He serves on the boards of Hercules Metals, a copper exploration company, and SRQ Exploration, which focuses on nickel in Quebec. Previously, he was a Non-Executive Director at Elemental Altus Royalties and Shanta Gold, both significant players in the mining sector.

Educated at the Delft University of Technology, Mr. Bos holds a Master’s degree in Metallurgy and a Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering. He is fluent in Dutch, English, and French. GCR’s Executive Chairman, Cevdet Caner, expressed enthusiasm about Mr. Bos joining the team, noting his extensive experience in the mining industry will support GCR’s growth.

GCR’s CEO, Richard Bunning, emphasized that Mr. Bos’s addition reflects the company’s commitment to building a top-notch advisory team equipped with essential skills and insights for their strategic goals.

In his own words, Mr. Bos shared his excitement about joining GCR during such a crucial time and looks forward to collaborating with the talented team at GCR.

GCR is a U.S. registered producer of crucial metals that drive modern technology, with operations in Africa and South America. Cevdet Caner, GCR’s Executive Chairman, has more than twenty years of experience in mining and real estate, founding several successful companies in these sectors.
