Chinese Tech Giants Train AI Models Abroad

In a bid to keep up with advanced technology, leading Chinese companies are taking their artificial intelligence training overseas. A recent report from the Financial Times reveals that major players like Alibaba and ByteDance are setting up large language models in data centers located in Southeast Asia. This move allows them to access Nvidia’s powerful chips while navigating U.S. restrictions aimed at limiting their technological advancements.

Sources familiar with the situation indicate that these tech firms are looking for ways to continue their AI development despite growing challenges.

As of now, there has been no immediate confirmation of this information.
