DUBAI: Iran has executed a man who was convicted of espionage for Israel, according to a report from the judiciary’s news service, Mizan.
The individual, identified as Mehdi Farid, had worked in a civil defense unit within a sensitive government organization. He was accused of using his access to gather and share confidential information with Israel’s intelligence agency, Mossad.
The Supreme Court confirmed his death sentence, which was carried out after all legal steps had been finalized, as stated by Mizan.
