During a recent promotional event for his upcoming film Sikandar, Salman Khan opened up about his future projects while interacting with the media at a luxury hotel in Mumbai. There have been many rumors regarding his collaboration with the popular director Atlee, known for the hit film Jawan starring Shah Rukh Khan. However, reports suggested that the project faced hurdles, primarily around budget and casting which caused delays.

When asked about the status of the film, Salman shared, “I don’t think it’s happening right now. It was in the works at one point, but we ran into some issues. I believe it was due to the film’s budget, which is quite high. That’s why it has been put on hold. Now, I have time to focus on one film before tackling another."

He also mentioned that he has two films waiting in the wings and plans to decide soon which one to take on first.

In addition to the Atlee project, Salman hinted at working with filmmaker Sooraj Barjatya, saying, "Sooraj Bhai is currently working on another film. After that, I’ll be part of his next project."

As Bajrangi Bhaijaan approaches its 10-year anniversary, there is growing interest in a sequel. Salman noted, “A sequel to Bajrangi Bhaijaan could certainly happen. The challenge is figuring out when it would be made since we need to know where Munni is now!” He confirmed that screenwriter K.V. Vijayendra Prasad is already working on a draft for it.

Switching gears, Salman expressed his willingness to take on comedic roles, particularly mentioning Andaz Apna Apna 2. He remarked, "I’d love to do something akin to No Entry or Ready. If Andaz Apna Apna 2 happens, that would be fantastic. I’m sure Rajkumar Santoshi would handle it brilliantly."

With his candid remarks, Salman Khan continues to keep fans excited about his upcoming projects while reminiscing about his past successes.
