Waltz emphasized the U.S.’s expectations for its allies regarding Iran, stating that full enforcement of sanctions will be mandatory, with repercussions for any nations that choose not to comply. “Countries will hear that enforcement is crucial and consequences will follow for both friends and adversaries,” he noted. “This is essential for global security.”
