IceCure Medical Selects West Cancer Center for Groundbreaking Study on Breast Cancer Treatment

CAESAREA, Israel, July 27, 2026 — IceCure Medical Ltd. (Nasdaq: ICCM) has announced a significant step forward in cancer treatment by partnering with the West Cancer Center & Research Institute. This collaboration marks the first U.S. clinical site for IceCure’s post-marketing study, named “ChoICE,” focusing on the use of ProSense® cryoablation for patients with low-risk breast cancer.

ProSense®, which gained approval from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in October 2025, offers a groundbreaking, minimally invasive alternative to traditional tumor removal surgery. The ChoICE Study plans to enroll up to 400 participants across 30 locations in the U.S. to collect real-world data aimed at supporting the broader application of this innovative treatment.

“We are excited to include the West Cancer Center & Research Institute in the ChoICE Study. Each new site enhances our momentum as we collaborate with top clinical teams nationwide to expand access to ProSense®’s minimally invasive options for breast cancer patients,” said Eyal Shamir, CEO of IceCure Medical.

The ChoICE Study is specifically designed for patients aged 70 and older with early-stage breast cancer who are deemed low-risk. ProSense® has been cleared by the FDA for local treatment in this demographic, particularly for tumors that are 1.5 cm or smaller and for patients receiving endocrine therapy, including those unsuitable for surgery.

Dr. Richard Gilmore, a breast surgical oncologist at the Margaret West Comprehensive Breast Center, will lead the efforts at the West Cancer Center site.

About the ChoICE Study

The ChoICE Study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of ProSense® cryoablation combined with endocrine therapy for suitable participants. By utilizing both study sites and active commercial sites, the participating locations will treat up to 400 patients while also extending the ProSense® treatment to eligible candidates who are not part of the study.
