Actor Allu Arjun was arrested this afternoon and is now in judicial custody for 14 days. This comes in light of a tragic incident that occurred on December 4 during the premiere of his film Pushpa 2: The Rule at the Sandhya Theatre in Hyderabad. In the chaos of the event, a 35-year-old woman named Revathi lost her life, and her eight-year-old son was seriously injured. Revathi’s family subsequently filed a complaint against both the actor and the theatre management.
In more recent updates, the Telangana High Court granted Allu Arjun interim bail for four weeks. The court noted that there was no evidence of wrongdoing on his part in relation to the tragic incident and set a personal bail bond of Rs. 50,000.
Following his arrest, Bhaskar, the husband of the deceased woman, expressed his desire to withdraw the case. He stated in a video shared online that he does not hold Allu Arjun responsible for his wife’s death. In the video, Bhaskar is seen speaking to reporters in Telugu, saying, “I am ready to withdraw the case. I was not aware of the arrest, and Allu Arjun has nothing to do with the stampede that led to my wife’s passing.”
This story is still unfolding, and further updates are anticipated as the situation develops.
