Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar has recently sold two apartments in the Oberoi Sky City project located in Borivali East, Mumbai. These sales, according to property registration documents, amounted to a total of ₹7.1 crores.
The transactions took place on June 2, 2026, involving units the actor bought almost nine years ago. This sale shows the increasing value of residential properties in that area and adds to Kumar’s list of property investments over the years.
One of the apartments, which is quite spacious at 1,101 square feet, was sold for ₹5.75 crores. The buyer paid a stamp duty of ₹28.75 lakhs, and the sale also included two parking spaces. The second, smaller apartment measures 252 square feet and went for ₹1.35 crores, with a stamp duty of ₹6.75 lakhs, incorporating one parking space.
Both apartments were purchased by Suvarna Rupeshkumar Sakpal through individual transactions on the same day. Property records indicate that Akshay Kumar had originally bought these units from Incline Realty Pvt Ltd back in November 2017, spending ₹3 crores on the larger unit and ₹67.55 lakhs on the smaller one. The recent sale reflects a notable rise in property value over the years.
So far, neither Akshay Kumar nor the buyer has commented on the transactions. Beyond his successful acting career, Kumar is known for making smart real estate investments. His recent sales highlight the strong demand for luxury residential properties in Mumbai’s western suburbs, where property values have seen significant growth over the past decade.
Professionally, Akshay Kumar is preparing for his upcoming film, Welcome To The Jungle.
