Authorities in Hyderabad recently questioned famous Tollywood actor Allu Arjun at the Chikkadpally police station regarding a tragic stampede during the premiere of his film “Pushpa 2: The Rule.” While neither the actor nor his representatives have officially commented on the situation, the incident has raised significant concern and speculation among fans and the public.
The unfortunate stampede occurred on December 4, 2024, at Sandhya Theatre, where a large crowd gathered to see Allu Arjun. Sadly, the chaos resulted in the death of a 35-year-old woman, and her nine-year-old son had to be hospitalized due to asphyxiation.
The premiere attracted an overwhelming number of attendees, reportedly exceeding the theatre’s capacity, which contributed to the panic. In response to the tragedy, a First Information Report (FIR) was filed against Allu Arjun, his security personnel, and the theatre management, citing various legal provisions.
On Friday, police officials went to Allu Arjun’s home in Jubilee Hills to initiate questioning regarding the events surrounding the stampede. Reports indicate that officials are investigating the circumstances that led to this tragic situation and are looking to establish accountability.
