Hercules Pharmaceuticals has announced the appointment of Ali Ahmed as its new Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer (CCO). Ahmed brings with him a wealth of experience from the healthcare and technology industries. Previously, he held significant positions at both Fresenius Kabi and Salesforce. At Fresenius Kabi, he was the Senior Vice President and General Manager of the BioPharma Business Unit, where he focused on bringing biosimilars to market, thereby improving access to quality healthcare. Ahmed also led the Life Sciences Innovation team globally at Salesforce, collaborating with pharmaceutical firms to enhance commercial strategies and patient engagement through advanced data and digital technology.
