Exciting Updates on 1920: Cold Winter
In recent news, Anya Singh, known for her role in *The Ba**ds Of Bollywood, is set to join the cast of Vikram Bhatt’s upcoming horror film, 1920: Cold Winter. This project is generating a buzz, and we have some more thrilling updates to share.
Source close to the project revealed that renowned music composer Himesh Reshammiya will be contributing his musical talents to 1920: Cold Winter. Vikram Bhatt’s horror movies are famous not just for their spine-tingling scares but also for their emotional and memorable music. Aiming for a standout soundtrack this time, Vikram reached out to Himesh, who was more than excited to collaborate again after a long 13-year gap. This film marks their fifth collaboration; they previously worked together on films like Footpath (2003) and Dangerous Ishhq (2012).
Additionally, it’s worth noting that for this film, Vikram Bhatt has chosen to shoot in Mussoorie instead of his usual location, Ooty. Filming is scheduled for the winter, a fitting backdrop for the chilling atmosphere the film aims to create.
Apart from this project, Himesh Reshammiya is also working on the music for another film starring Sunny Deol, which was originally known as Soorya but has been retitled Suryaa – One Man Against The System. This action drama is a remake of the Malayalam film Joseph (2018), where Sunny plays a retired cop going after an organ harvesting ring. Notably, this is the third time Himesh is composing for a Sunny Deol movie, with their previous works dating back 19 years.
According to sources, Himesh’s music label, Himesh Reshammiya Melodies, has acquired the rights for both 1920: Cold Winter and Suryaa. The label is gearing up to release music from several upcoming films, including Gunmaaster G9, starring Emraan Hashmi, and Yeh Prem Mol Liya, featuring Ayushmann Khurrana.

1920: Cold Winter was announced shortly after the unexpected success of Haunted – Echoes Of The Past. Anand Pandit is producing this project as well. Ahan Shetty has been confirmed for the male lead, and it will be interesting to see him and Anya Singh share the screen once again, having previously acted together in this year’s hit film Border 2.
With all these developments, fans are eagerly awaiting what Vikram Bhatt, Himesh Reshammiya, and their talented cast will bring to the big screen.
