This week, movie fans are excited about the upcoming release of Haiwaan, featuring stars Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan. The film has generated buzz thanks to its impressive cast, renowned director Priyadarshan, and an engaging trailer.
The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has given Haiwaan a U/A 16+ rating, but not without requesting some edits. They made several adjustments: an initial visual in the film has been “suitably modified,” and a specific word was changed to “Kamina” in the second half. Additionally, a derogatory term was removed and replaced with “Girlfriend,” while another inappropriate phrase was swapped for “Dimaag ki vaat laga ke rakh di.” Fortunately, there were no cuts to any thrilling visuals, meaning the action-packed scenes remain intact.
After these changes were made, the CBFC approved the film on September 8. The total runtime of Haiwaan is confirmed to be 164.07 minutes, which translates to approximately 2 hours and 44 minutes.
Alongside Akshay and Saif, the film also features performances by Shriya Pilgaonkar and Sayami Kher. Haiwaan will hit theaters on September 11, and audiences are eager to see how the story unfolds.
