Mumbai: Passengers Trapped in Churchgate Metro Lift Due to Technical Issues

In a recent incident in Mumbai, several passengers found themselves stuck in a lift at Churchgate Metro station owing to a technical malfunction. The situation unfolded when the lift suddenly stopped working, leaving those inside unable to exit.

Metro authorities quickly responded to the emergency and dispatched rescue teams to assist the trapped individuals. Thankfully, within a short period, all of the passengers were safely freed and taken out of the lift.

While no injuries were reported, the incident raised concerns regarding the maintenance and safety of the lift systems in the metro. Commuters expressed their frustration over the unexpected delay and the need for regular checks on equipment to prevent such incidents in the future.

Officials are looking into the root cause of the technical glitch to ensure that this situation does not recur, emphasizing their commitment to passenger safety and comfort.
