New Approach for Offshore Development: Wave 1 Initiative

Wave 1 represents a fresh strategy for developing offshore fields and is the first of several planned phases as part of Equinor’s NCS2035 vision. This initiative aims to enhance collaboration and efficiency by coordinating contract awards for various subsea projects. The goal is to standardize processes and speed up the development of underutilized resources.

Wouter Van Korven, the Vice President of Sales at Subsea Production Systems for NOV, expressed pride in being part of this endeavor. “This award shows Equinor’s trust in our flexible pipe technology and our ability to provide reliable, cost-effective solutions for offshore development,” he stated.

As the demand for flexible pipe rises, NOV finds itself in a strong position to offer proven solutions that ensure smooth and reliable production, helping operators to develop offshore fields more swiftly and efficiently.
