Sanjay Dutt’s Upcoming Film ‘Aakhri Sawal’ Creates Buzz Ahead of Release
The excitement is building for Sanjay Dutt’s new movie, Aakhri Sawal, as fans eagerly await its premiere. The film’s teaser was recently revealed on Hanuman Jayanti, providing a unique look into the history of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), the world’s largest voluntary organization.
The official trailer is set to drop on April 30, 2026, during a special launch event featuring the entire cast and crew. This film also marks the return of actresses Neetu Chandra and Sameera Reddy to the big screen.
Neetu shared her thrill about joining the project, stating, “My views on cinema have changed over the years. Now, I look for stories that leave a mark. Aakhri Sawal is one of those films. It’s not just entertainment; it’s a thought-provoking experience that lingers after watching it.”
Similarly, Sameera expressed her views, saying, “I didn’t come back to films to play it safe. This doesn’t follow the usual path. My understanding of the RSS was superficial before reading the script. I realized that many assumptions I had were false. This film challenges your beliefs and makes you question what you accept as truth. I wanted my return to be daring and this film embodies that spirit.”
Directed by renowned National Award-winning filmmaker Abhijeet Mohan Warang, Aakhri Sawal is produced by Sanjay Dutt and Nikhil Nanda, with contributions from Puneet Nanda and others. The screenplay and dialogues are crafted by Utkarsh Naithani. The film is scheduled for release in theaters on May 8, 2026.
