AluHouse Group Enters North American Market at World of Modular in Las Vegas
LAS VEGAS, April 28, 2026 — AluHouse Group, a modular construction company from Hong Kong, made its first appearance in North America at the 2026 World of Modular event held in Las Vegas from April 20 to 23. During the event, the company showcased a seven-story steel modular multifamily development that is on track for delivery in the U.S. AluHouse also received four Awards of Distinction for its projects completed in Hong Kong.
As the only Asian modular builder at the event, AluHouse highlighted a physical model of its California multifamily project, designed to meet U.S. building standards. With more than 95% of its components prefabricated, this project promises quicker construction times and improved quality.
Eric Kwong, Founder and Chairman of AluHouse, emphasized that entering the U.S. market is not just about business growth. He believes modular construction can help solve housing shortages in the U.S. and Canada, especially as construction costs rise. “We’re focused on building long-term partnerships that go beyond just delivering projects,” Kwong said.
The displayed multifamily project includes 36 modules, all manufactured to meet local building codes, with inspections completed successfully. The modules, measuring 50 feet by 15 feet, are now in mass production and nearing delivery.
Paul Law, Director of AluHouse, noted the importance of aligning design, engineering, and manufacturing processes to meet North American standards. He expressed confidence in the company’s ability to adapt and support projects requiring expedited timelines.
AluHouse stands out as one of the largest modular construction manufacturers worldwide. It has experience with high-rise buildings, having previously completed a major social housing project in Hong Kong using nearly 16,000 modules.
So far, AluHouse has delivered over 27,000 modules across various regions including Australia, the Middle East, and now North America. Its integrated supply chain streamlines processes from steel fabrication to full module assembly, ensuring efficient delivery and cost management.
At the Modular Building Institute Awards, AluHouse received prestigious recognition, including two “Best of Show” awards for its work on a primary school and transitional housing project in Hong Kong, reflecting the high standards maintained in one of the world’s toughest construction markets.
Kwong stated, “These achievements showcase our ability to adapt to complex regulations, a skill that will serve us well when pursuing projects in the diverse building codes across U.S. states.”
