Title: Bhagam Bhag 2 Shooting Delayed Due to Legal Dispute

Akshay Kumar, Manoj Bajpayee, and Paresh Rawal were set to begin filming the much-anticipated sequel to Bhagam Bhag on March 2, 2026, with plans for shoots in India and Lucknow. However, recent developments have put this project on hold due to a legal disagreement between Ekta Kapoor and director Raaj Shaandilyaa.

According to inside sources, Ekta Kapoor has filed a lawsuit against Raaj Shaandilyaa, claiming he breached their contract. Raaj had entered into a three-film deal with Ekta, but he has since taken on two projects outside her production banner without her consent. This move has reportedly infuriated Ekta, especially since Raaj did not seek a No Objection Certificate (NOC) or return the advance payment meant for his third film with her.

Following this dispute, a legal notice was issued to Raaj, along with producers Ashwin Varde and Cape of Good Films, causing the production of Bhagam Bhag 2 to be postponed. The project is currently on hold as the parties involved work towards resolving the legal issues. There is a possibility that a new director may be brought in if the film is revived later.

The shooting schedule for the three actors—Akshay, Manoj, and Paresh—was originally planned for 25 days in March, but it has now been canceled, leaving them free for other commitments. As all three actors have other projects lined up starting in June, there is real uncertainty about the future of Bhagam Bhag 2. Akshay was reportedly unaware of the legal difficulties just days before the filming was supposed to start.

Discussions among the involved parties continue as they try to navigate through these complications.
