Bollywood actor Sonu Sood has made headlines by leasing a commercial space in Trade Centre BKC, located in Bandra East, Mumbai, to HDFC Bank Limited. The monthly rent for this property starts at ₹11.75 lakhs, as revealed by property registration documents.

The rental agreement, officially recorded in February 2026, marks a significant deal for both parties. Bandra is known as one of Mumbai’s premium real estate markets, featuring a blend of luxury residences and commercial properties. The area is popular with investors and residents alike, thanks to its convenient access to major roads, train stations, and the upcoming Metro lines. It’s also near key business hubs like Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC) and the international airport. The location attracts numerous high-profile individuals, including movie stars such as Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, and Ranbir Kapoor.

According to the analysis by Square Yards, the lease lasts for nine years. The rent in the first three years is fixed at ₹11.75 lakhs, with a 15% increase slated after every three years. The agreement also outlines a security deposit of ₹70.50 lakhs, and the unit features three dedicated parking spots, covering an area of 2,700 sq. ft.

Sonu Sood had acquired this commercial property for ₹24.25 crores back in October 2012. With the current lease terms, the property is projected to generate an average annual rental yield of around 6.7% throughout the lease period.

Apart from his acting career, which took off in the late 1990s, Sonu Sood is also known for his work as a film producer and philanthropist. He gained fame for his role in the film Arundhati and has appeared in various successful movies over the years. His contributions extend beyond cinema, as he garnered nationwide applause for his humanitarian efforts during the COVID-19 pandemic, earning several awards for his charitable work.
