Trailer Launch of Welcome To The Jungle
The cast of Welcome To The Jungle gathered at a studio in Mumbai to unveil the movie’s trailer. Stars like Akshay Kumar, Jackie Shroff, Arshad Warsi, Disha Patani, Jacqueline Fernandez, and many others attended this lively event. The studio was creatively transformed, complete with a vibrant, artificial waterfall that set a fun, jungle-like atmosphere.
During the event, there was buzz about Akshay Kumar reportedly charging Rs. 1.8 crore for his role. When a reporter questioned him about this fee, Akshay humorously replied, “Honestly, I didn’t even get that much! I wish!”
He also took a moment to honor the late Neeraj Vora, who contributed significantly to the film’s script. Akshay shared how important Neeraj was in shaping his career, stating that he learned a lot about comedy from him. He reminisced about his long-standing relationship with producer Firoz A. Nadiadwallah, saying, “I’ve known him for 36 years, dating back to my struggling days. Even now, I feel like I’m still struggling!”
Welcome To The Jungle is set to hit theaters on June 26.
