Actor Nadeem Khan Arrested Over Serious Allegations

Actor Nadeem Khan, known for his recent role in the film Dhurandhar, has been taken into custody by Mumbai Police following troubling allegations from a former domestic worker. She claims that Khan repeatedly sexually assaulted her over a span of nearly ten years, promising her marriage under false pretenses.

Khan, who played the cook Akhlak in Dhurandhar, was arrested by Malvani Police on Thursday. He is currently being held as the investigation unfolds.

The allegations come from a 41-year-old woman who has worked as a domestic help for various actors. In her statement, she mentioned that she started interacting with Khan in 2015, and what began as a professional relationship reportedly grew into something personal, with Khan assuring her that they would marry.

Trusting his words, she claimed they entered into a physical relationship, which lasted almost a decade. She alleges that these encounters occurred at both her home and Khan’s residence in Versova, based on the belief that they would eventually marry. When Khan later reneged on his promise, she decided to alert the authorities.

The complainant initially filed her complaint at Versova Police earlier this month, but the case was later moved to Malvani Police due to jurisdiction issues. An officer clarified the transfer, stating that since the initial incidents took place at her residence in Malvani, the case was reassigned.

Following a review of the complaint, Malvani Police registered a case and arrested Khan. Further inquiries are in progress as officials plan to gather more evidence and witness statements.

This news has stirred quite a reaction in the industry, especially given Khan’s recent appearances on screen. The authorities are emphasizing that the investigation will follow due process as they continue to look into the matter.
