Wide Receiver and Defensive Back Salesi Moa Moves from Utah to Michigan
Salesi Moa, a talented wide receiver and defensive back, is making a big move from Utah to Michigan, following his coach, Kyle Whittingham. The four-star recruit from Ogden, Utah, initially signed with the Utes in December but decided to enter the transfer portal after Whittingham took the head coaching job at Michigan.
While Moa was primarily recruited as a defensive back, he has a passion for playing wide receiver. At Michigan, he will play this position under coach Micah Simon, who also made the transition from Utah to join Whittingham’s staff. Adding to Moa’s family connection at Michigan, his uncle, Lewis Powell, is now the defensive line coach after previously coaching at Utah.
