Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2 Set for Release This Friday

The comedy film Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2 is all set to hit theaters on Friday, December 12. Audiences are eagerly anticipating this release, thanks to its humor, the casting of Kapil Sharma, and the success of its predecessor, Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon (2015), which did very well at the box office. This time around, the storyline follows the main character who marries women from various religious backgrounds. Given the current social climate, there were concerns that the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) might request changes or cuts to the script. However, that has not been the case.

According to reports, the CBFC’s Examining Committee only requested one change in the film—a replacement of what they deemed an “inappropriate” real name used in an early scene with a more suitable term. A source mentioned, “The dialogues related to religion and different communities remained unchanged because the filmmakers took care to avoid offending anyone. The CBFC praised this approach and felt there was no reason for further cuts. Visually, there was nothing objectionable either.”

The source also noted that the film was rated U/A 16+, instead of U/A 13+ or U/A 7+, likely due to its theme of a man with multiple wives. After making the requested edit, the filmmakers received their censor certificate on November 25. The movie has a runtime of 142 minutes and 15 seconds, making it approximately 2 hours and 22 minutes long.

Directed by Anukalp Goswami, Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2 features Kapil Sharma alongside Hira Warina, Tridha Choudhary, Parul Gulati, Ayesha Khan, Manjot Singh, Akhilendra Mishra, Vipin Sharma, Sushant Singh, Jamie Lever, and the late Asrani.
