Filmmaker Anurag Kashyap has spoken out about the recent protests by the Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) near Parliament in Delhi, which escalated into violence. This incident has sparked significant political discussions across the nation. Kashyap, known for his outspoken views on social and political matters, shared his thoughts on Instagram through a passionate message, joining the conversation about the event.
In his Instagram Stories, he expressed in Hindi, “To wear a uniform, one has to trade their soul and compassion. Is there any police officer in this country who can stand firm and say, ‘I won’t follow this order because it’s wrong’?”
This isn’t the first time Kashyap has addressed such issues. Earlier this week, he posted another strong message stating, “This has crossed all limits.” He added, “Even the deaf and blind are not this hardened. Some beings are worse than animals. Staying silent is becoming shameful.”
The CJP has been protesting over allegations of a leak in the NEET-UG exam papers. Recently, a demonstration near Parliament became chaotic, leading to injuries among both police and protesters. Authorities claim the protesters became aggressive despite multiple warnings, while students argue that police acted violently without cause. As investigations and political discussions continue, Kashyap’s comments are contributing to the public debate surrounding these events.
