Miami, Florida – December 1, 2025 – The travel technology industry is often full of noise, but for iVisa, being ranked 155 on the Deloitte Technology Fast 500 after previously making the Inc. 5000 list speaks volumes about its success.
This achievement highlights a serious effort to simplify travel, which is where iVisa’s journey began. Co-founder Sergio Merino recalls the frustration with a government website when Argentina introduced an eVisa requirement for American travelers in 2013. “The application process was confusing and difficult. We saw a chance to create a service that simplified this experience,” he shared.
From these challenges, iVisa emerged as a travel document platform dedicated to providing a more user-friendly alternative to traditional government processes. Fast forward twelve years, and the company has seen incredible growth, with a 526% revenue increase from 2021 to 2024. iVisa now handles millions of applications annually for over 240 nationalities and boasts more than 400 employees across 15 countries, all without any outside investments.
Offering assistance for over 140 document types in 14 languages, the company’s quick rise is rooted in responding to the needs of travelers. Notably, filmmaker Michael Angelo Zervos turned to iVisa when he aimed to visit every country in 499 days, needing over 70 visas. iVisa’s successful navigation of this complex task showcased its capability and reliability.
“We faced the toughest test, and we succeeded,” CEO David noted. “Governments set the rules, but our goal is to help travelers. Most just want to get to their destination without the hassle of complicated forms.”
Recognition from both Deloitte and Inc. shows that iVisa is making a genuine impact in the travel sector. These awards confirm the core mission: to provide a faster, easier way to manage international travel documents.
The Deloitte Technology Fast 500 honors companies transforming challenges into solutions through rapid growth, while the Inc. 5000 focuses on sustainable growth patterns. iVisa’s exceptional performance between 2021 and 2024 demonstrates its ability to provide a user-friendly service that avoids the pitfalls common in government portals.
“Real growth comes from solving real problems,” Sergio said. “Our high approval rate reflects our commitment to getting it right for our travelers.”
At the heart of iVisa’s success is its focus on simplicity. The company recently introduced Vee, a smart travel assistant that helps users throughout the application process. Vee asks questions, catches mistakes, and even helps adjust photos, making the experience feel personal and intuitive.
This AI-driven approach means that whether users are applying from São Paulo, Nairobi, or Bangkok, they receive localized guidance in their preferred language. While Vee streamlines the process, a human expert reviews each application before submission to ensure accuracy.
For instance, when Patrick from Switzerland applied for a UK visa for his anniversary trip, Vee flagged issues with his passport photo and helped him make the necessary corrections.
Looking ahead, iVisa plans to shift its focus from simply processing applications to predictive mobility management. Utilizing data and machine learning, the company aims to identify regulatory changes and travel trends before they happen, preparing for new systems like ETIAS and digital authorizations.
They have also launched Ask iVisa, a free service offering travelers information about visa requirements without any sign-up or fees, helping over 5,000 people plan their trips better.
Their new subscription service, iVisa+, caters to frequent travelers, providing unlimited applications and faster processing without extra fees. “We want the visa application process to be simpler than booking a flight,” David stated.
In a realm where travel can often feel uncertain, iVisa stands out with a clear vision: addressing complex issues, supporting travelers, and continuously improving their service.
The accolades from Deloitte and Inc. validate not only the effectiveness of their business model but also the dedication of their global team to enhance the travel experience for millions. “We’re not just changing how people get visas; we’re transforming the way they travel,” Sergio explained. “With iVisa, we want travelers to feel reassured, knowing that we’ve simplified the journey for them.”
