BANGKOK: Flooding in Thailand has claimed the lives of 22 people, according to officials on Tuesday. The situation is critical, with around 370,000 individuals impacted by severe rains and rising river levels.
Nineteen provinces are feeling the effects, particularly Uttaradit and Ayutthaya, located north of Bangkok, where the damage has been especially severe.
In response, emergency teams are working quickly to provide food and necessities to those in need. They are also keeping a close watch on water levels, as the ongoing monsoon season continues to bring heavy rainfall across the region.
