NUS-ISS Celebrates a Decade of Learning with Exciting Festival Events
SINGAPORE, Sept. 8, 2025 — The National University of Singapore Institute of Systems Science (NUS-ISS) has launched its 10th annual Learning Festival, running from September 5 to November 14, 2025. This special edition celebrates ten years of inspiring digital leaders and innovators, highlighting the need for professionals to adapt to the rapid advancements in artificial intelligence (AI).
The festival is part of the university’s NUS120 anniversary celebrations. NUS-ISS aims to enhance the digital skills of individuals across various sectors while building a strong community connection.
The theme for this year’s festival is “Always Learning and Always Leading in the Age of Artificial Intelligence.” This reflects the growing importance of staying updated in a world where AI is reshaping industries. The event will provide a platform for professionals to explore cutting-edge trends and learn strategies for success in an AI-driven landscape.
Throughout the three-month festival, attendees can participate in a variety of engaging activities designed to connect the NUS-ISS community.
Highlights of the Festival
The festival will kick off with a major full-day event at NUS-ISS’s campus, where industry professionals will gather to share ideas. There will be keynote speeches, panel discussions, hands-on workshops, and networking opportunities. Participants will gain insights into how AI is revolutionizing sectors like healthcare, cybersecurity, and digital banking. Additionally, from September 15, a series of online webinars focusing on Digital Resilience, Digital Health, and Artificial Intelligence will be available, fostering ongoing learning and exchange among professionals worldwide.
Special Events for Alumni and Students
A notable feature of the festival is a talk by Dr. Xavier Xie, who will discuss the future of Industry 5.0, emphasizing cooperation between human creativity and AI. This event is tailored for NUS-ISS alumni and addresses the ethical implications of AI in business.
Another highlight is the NUS-ISS TalentXperience, a key event for students looking to kick-start their digital careers. This year’s edition is expected to offer more than 100 interviews with leading companies, helping students build networks and receive valuable feedback on navigating the job market.
The festival will also host an Annual Luncheon, gathering alumni, industry partners, and staff to discuss the institute’s future and its commitment to developing the next generation of digital leaders.
