Bollywood actor Jaideep Ahlawat has made headlines with his latest real estate purchase in Mumbai. He and his wife, Jyoti Hooda, have bought a spacious apartment in the upscale neighborhood of Andheri West for an impressive ₹10 crores, according to registration documents.
Located in Poorna Apartments, this new home features a carpet area of 1,950 square feet and a built-up area of around 2,341 square feet. The transaction, finalized in May 2025, involved a stamp duty payment of ₹60 lakh and a registration fee of ₹30,000. Additionally, the apartment offers four dedicated parking spaces.
Andheri West is a prominent area, known for its excellent transport links and infrastructure. It is ideally situated between key business and entertainment districts, making it a popular choice among celebrities and professionals alike. Major roads and the Versova-Andheri-Ghatkopar Metro line enhance its connectivity, contributing to its growth as a bustling hub.
This property purchase marks a significant step in Ahlawat’s career. He began with smaller roles, but his breakout performance in Gangs of Wasseypur led to more significant opportunities. His work in Paatal Lok, where he played Hathiram Chaudhary, earned him critical acclaim and solidified his reputation as a talented actor.
On the work front, Jaideep was last seen in Jewel Thief, a Netflix film starring Saif Ali Khan.
