Reports indicate that Anushka has acquired a small stake in the company, joining her husband, cricket star Virat Kohli, who previously invested in the brand.
According to an Economic Times article, Anushka is set to take on an active role in the company’s future projects, particularly in launching a new line of yoga wear under the One8 sportswear franchise. This move adds to her growing list of entrepreneurial endeavors while she takes a break from acting.
Agilitas Sports CEO Abhishek Ganguly confirmed the partnership, stating that Anushka is investing in the company and will help develop yoga wear. Although he didn’t divulge further details about the agreement, it highlights Anushka’s commitment to the venture.
The brand has gained popularity in the Indian sportswear market, especially due to its connection with Virat Kohli and the One8 label. With Anushka on board, Agilitas is expected to enhance its position in the lifestyle and activewear sectors, focusing on yoga and wellness apparel.
