Prime Minister Modi’s Strong Message on Terrorism
In his first address following Operation Sindoor, Prime Minister Narendra Modi emphasized that India will not accept any form of “nuclear blackmail.” He stated that actions against Pakistan have merely been paused and will depend on Pakistan’s future conduct. Modi described Operation Sindoor as a new strategy to combat terrorism, declaring, “a fresh line has been drawn.”
The Prime Minister issued a stern warning to Pakistan, asserting, “Terror and talks cannot coexist; terror and trade cannot coexist; water and blood cannot flow together.” He made it clear that discussions with Pakistan should solely focus on issues of terrorism and the return of Pakistan-occupied Kashmir.
Citing the tragic Pahalgam attack that resulted in the death of 26 civilians, Modi called it “the most barbaric form of terrorism.” His strong position underlines India’s commitment to combating threats and promoting safety.
