Mini Films, founded by Varun and Mansi Bagla, have responded forcefully to allegations made by Arushi Nishank, who accused them of financial wrongdoing linked to ₹4 crores for a role in their upcoming project.

In their official response, Mini Films labeled Nishank’s claims as completely untrue and misleading. They clarified that this matter is civil in nature and assured that they are taking the necessary legal steps to resolve it.

According to Mini Films, Nishank approached them in Mumbai, persistently seeking a meeting. She claimed to be the daughter of a former Uttarakhand minister and expressed her interest in collaborating through her company, Himshri Films. Nishank suggested that her political influence could be beneficial for their film in Uttarakhand. However, the producers declined her offer for assistance, stating they were making progress on their own.

Later, she revealed her aspirations to be a heroine and proposed investing in the film in exchange for a small role. She suggested that this investment would elevate her profile in Uttarakhand and further her political career. To convince them, she mentioned her connections with Uttarakhand’s Chief Minister, Pushkar Singh Dhami, emphasizing her prior invitation to him for her web series.

However, after joining the project, Nishank allegedly began to demand a more significant role as a parallel lead. While filming in Dehradun, her husband, Abhinav Pant, invited the producers to a construction site and reportedly threatened them to secure a more prominent position for her. The producers ultimately decided to terminate her involvement in the film due to these demands and threats.

Despite being removed from the project, Nishank allegedly circulated false information to the media, claiming to be part of the film alongside the lead cast. Mini Films described her as someone seeking media attention and accused her of having temperamental issues. They stated that her accusations are entirely fabricated and that their legal team is actively addressing the situation.

The production house has urged both the media and the public to disregard these false claims and await a legal resolution.
