Champions Trophy 2025: New Zealand Eyes Final in Dubai
New Zealand’s cricket captain, Mitchell Santner, expressed his desire to play in the Champions Trophy final in Dubai. He noted that the pitch there has been known to favor spin bowlers. The Kiwis are set to face off against South Africa in the semi-final on March 5 in Lahore.
Santner shared his thoughts, saying, "First, we need to focus on getting to the final, and then we can see what happens. I believe the conditions in Dubai could be really good for spin bowling, so it would be exciting to play there. Regardless of what happens in the semi-final tomorrow, making it to the final is always a great achievement, and the location is just a bonus."
As the tournament progresses, all eyes will be on New Zealand as they aim for a spot in the final.
