US President Issues Strong Warning to Israel Over Lebanon Bombing
WASHINGTON: On Friday, President Donald Trump made a significant announcement regarding Israel’s military actions, stating that the United States has prohibited Israel from carrying out any further bombings in Lebanon. Trump’s statements marked a noticeable shift in his usual approach to U.S.-Israel relations.
In a message on social media, Trump declared, “Israel will not be bombing Lebanon any longer. They are PROHIBITED from doing so by the U.S.A. Enough is enough!!!”
The President went on to clarify that any agreement the U.S. makes with Iran will not involve Lebanon, emphasizing that the U.S. will handle the situation with the militant group Hezbollah appropriately.
In related news, the Kremlin expressed its support for a ceasefire between Israel and Lebanon, backed by the United States.
Trump also mentioned that the U.S. would acquire nuclear material from Iran, asserting, “No money will exchange hands in any way, shape, or form.”
The announcement came shortly after Iran’s foreign minister, Abbas Araqchi, stated that all commercial ships have full access to the Strait of Hormuz during the ceasefire period.
This series of developments underlines the complex dynamics in the region as the U.S. seeks to mediate growing tensions.
