Meta has reached a settlement that was submitted to the court on Wednesday. According to the terms, Meta will pay around 7% of the total amount upfront, with the rest to be paid over time. As part of the proposed agreement, the company will implement daily usage limits and nighttime restrictions for teenage users. Additionally, it will enhance age verification processes to prevent children from accessing its platforms and will offer more parental control tools. Meta, however, maintains that it has not done anything wrong.
