Erling Haaland’s Unique Souvenir from the World Cup

Norwegian football star Erling Haaland made headlines not just for his performance but also for an unusual keepsake he brought back from the FIFA World Cup. After his team’s defeat to England in the quarter-finals, Haaland was spotted at Oslo’s Gardermoen Airport with a quirky souvenir: a $750 taxidermy raccoon.

Haaland, known for his lighthearted personality, joked about the raccoon on social media, saying, “It followed me home.” He was seen carrying the raccoon in one hand and a stylish Dolce & Gabbana tote bag in the other.

The raccoon comes from Wild Bill’s Western Store in Dallas, a family-run shop that Haaland visited earlier in July. The store, celebrating over 40 years in business, shared a photo of Haaland on its website, where he donned a cowboy hat and boots, along with a shirt that read, “Y’all can kiss my Dallas.”

Expressing their gratitude, the store posted on Instagram, “As a family-owned business, moments like these mean the world to us. Thank you for stopping by and spending time with our team.”

Interestingly, the raccoon, mounted on a wooden board and holding a whiskey bottle, has become quite popular—so much so that it’s now sold out, with more on the way.

Since Haaland’s visit, the shop has started offering international shipping, responding to the surge of interest from fans in Norway and elsewhere.

At 25, Haaland has caught the public’s attention for more than just his goal-scoring skills. His amusing facial expressions and stylish looks have made him a hot topic online. He’s even inspired fan chants, such as “Haaland (Ha Ha Ha).” Off the field, he’s known for his fashion sense, frequently spotted with luxury items like Hermès bags and Chanel beanies.

Haaland’s blend of talent and personality continues to resonate with fans, making him one of the most talked-about players this World Cup season.
