Fox Sports and Telemundo are set to see a significant boost in their advertising revenue for the upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup, which will kick off in North America next week. Reports indicate that the two networks could see their ad earnings more than double compared to previous events.
According to an analysis by Madison & Wall, the event could generate around $500 million in additional impact on the U.S. advertising market. In addition, Morgan Stanley projects that direct advertising revenues on Fox platforms alone could range between $300 million and $400 million. This surge highlights the immense popularity and economic influence of the World Cup as it approaches.
