Known for producing grand films across various Indian film industries, Hombale Films aims to explore the themes of youth culture, music, relationships, and self-discovery through the evolving hip-hop scene of the city.
The film, produced by Vijay Kiragandur, is directed by Sarang Sanjeev Sathaye. The screenplay is co-written by Sathaye, Sujay Jadhav, Srushti Tawade, and Shreyas Sagvekar. The cinematography will be led by Harshvir Oberai, while AV Prafullachandra will handle the music composition.
Set entirely in Mumbai, the narrative will delve into friendship, love, identity, and ambition, showcasing both underground and contemporary music culture. The production team shared that the storyline will blend Marathi hip-hop with a touching coming-of-age theme.
Filming for Yeto Ka Naay is currently in progress in Mumbai, with plans for a theatrical release later this year. However, an official release date has yet to be confirmed.
This project marks a new creative path for Hombale Films, venturing into the musical drama genre while reflecting urban youth experiences and local music scenes. Chaluve Gowda, Co-Founder & Partner of Hombale Films, expressed excitement about the project, stating, “At Hombale Films, we seek to tell stories that resonate with all generations and mirror India’s evolving cultural landscape.
