Lakeshore College has initiated a commercial truck driving program at its Cleveland campus. This program is designed to address the growing demand for transportation workers and provide local training options.
The in-person course lasts eight weeks and aligns with federal entry-level driver training requirements, helping students earn a Wisconsin commercial driver license. With four start dates each year, this program reduces the need for local students to travel far for CDL training. It offers a nine-credit, one-term technical diploma that is fully in-person.
