Last-Minute Cancellation of Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2 Re-release
Fans of the comedy film Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2 were looking forward to its re-release on January 9. Many had missed it the first time and were excited to finally see Kapil Sharma’s performance on the big screen. Unfortunately, their excitement turned to disappointment as the re-release was abruptly canceled.
According to a reliable source, Star Studio18, which partnered with the film, initially planned to show it in around 500 theaters. However, they managed to secure only 200 to 250 screens, with many screenings scheduled at inconvenient times. The film’s producers, Venus, were unhappy with this limited release and decided to pull the plug on the re-release late Thursday evening, January 8.
This comedy, which debuted on December 12, was taken out of theaters earlier due to competition from other films like Dhurandhar and Avatar: Fire And Ash. The producers had hoped to give it another chance when things slowed down. However, with the restrictions on screenings still in place, they opted for this drastic move.
An industry expert shared their thoughts: “It will be interesting to see if Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2 gets another chance to re-release later. This film has brought genuine laughter to audiences and deserves another shot.”
The movie features a talented cast, including Manjot Singh, Hira Warina, Tridha Choudhary, and more. Directed by Anukalp Goswami, it tells the humorous story of a man whose plans of marrying his girlfriend go awry when he ends up marrying three women instead, all while she mysteriously disappears.
Fans are now left hoping for a future re-release so they can enjoy this entertaining film.
