A special event was held at a Gaushala in Chandigarh’s Sector 45, focusing on a ‘Havan’ and prayer ceremony for the Indian women’s cricket team as they prepare for their World Cup final against South Africa. Organizer Vinod ji emphasized the change in perception about women in India, stating, “Our country was once known for its illiteracy, but today our daughters are excelling in every area.”
This ceremony took place during the festival of Tulsi Vivah, with many devotees joining in prayer, hoping for the team’s success on a big stage. The gathering not only highlighted the bond between faith and sports in India but also celebrated women’s empowerment. The achievements of women in areas like civil service, judiciary, and politics were also acknowledged during the event.
To further mark the occasion, the organizers plan to distribute sweets and host a grand celebration if the team brings home the victory.
