In a tragic incident, Eduri Chinnama, a widow from Rameshwara village in Srikakulam’s Tekkali mandal, lost her life while visiting a temple. Chinnama had planned to have her hair shaved at the Sri Venkateswara Temple in Tirumala but could not afford the trip. Instead, she went to the newly built Sri Venkateswara Temple at Kashibugga. Family friend Swami shared that she had decided to fast until her prayers were answered. Unfortunately, she collapsed in a crowd when a railing broke, leading to her being trampled.
In political news, Jan Suraaj founder Prashant Kishor is targeting BJP leader and Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary, questioning his age and education.
